2008 Team Competition Information

The Team Competition will start on May 14th and go through the end of the Series - 6 races in all.

This competition is for FUN and friendly competition between our shops/clubs. What do you win? BRAGGIN' RIGHTS, your team PHOTO posted for all the world to see and a small prize to be shared with your team mates. We will use the points from the last 6 races to determine the "best overall" teams in the 3 person and 5 or more classes.  If you are one of the winning Teams you will get a plaque to give your sponsor/shop/company.

1. Your Team Captain must sign your team up on THIS FORM prior to the May 14 race - (forms are available at the races too).

2. Two team sizes/classes: Minimum of 3 people and 5 or more.

3. Maximum team size is 18 racers.

4. No more than 2 teams per shop/sponsor.

5. Once you have been entered into the competition, you cannot be removed.

6. No racer substitutions or changes after the competition has started.

SCORING: The scoring method is based on an average score for your team. Your individual scores are added together and divided by the number of members on your team. This is the teams average score for that race. If your team mates do not show up it will HURT YOUR SCORE!... So make sure whoever signs up participates each week!

 NOTE: If your class has less than 5 participating racers each week you will carry only 50% of your points into the Team results.

Most of all this is for fun!...so no kicking, spitting or elbowing!!! (woman's teams excepted) ;-)
