You know, all those volunteers that help out on race day!

 Brian Joder

I started racing the Series on it's second year (1996). That same year I also started helping out with course set-up and clean up. On about the third year of the Series VENTANA Mountain Bikes USA who had started the Series and had provided the staff for the event was stretched a bit thin and could not keep the Series going. Myself and a fellow racer at the time, Dave Comerchero, took on the job. We ran the Series jointly until 2004 when Dave had a personal tragedy in his life that prevented him from being involved. I have been in charge of the Series since then. The success of the Series is because of my volunteer staff. Without the help of these volunteers this event would not happen. Please THANK THEM for the job they do! When I'm not working on the Race Series my other interests are here.

 Diane Cressey

As most of you know, among many other duties, I’m the one who takes your cash on race day.  I love this job because I get to see and say hello to everyone!!  It is such a privilege to assist my boyfriend, Brian, in making the Prairie City Race Series the best it can be.  After arriving at Prairie City at about 2pm, while Brian and Andy set up the course, I set up registration to make sure it will run smoothly for the volunteers and racers. I absolutely love working the races…it’s so rewarding to see all your smiling faces and know you’re having fun!!  I really miss the Series and all you racers when the season is over.

My real job is training people to get fit!  I’m a personal trainer.  I specialize in fitness training and performance nutrition, including cycling specific training. If you’re interested, please visit my website for details. I look forward to seeing you at the next race!! Ride on!

 Andy Klaiber
Andy is a computer guru and is responsible for the scoring software he designed specifically for this Series. Without it, I would spend hours and HOURS scoring each week. He also helps set up the course and usually the one who gets the task of taking down the course at the end of the days racing. He is an indispensable helper each week and I depend on him greatly.

Chad Martin
"FunChad" really says it all, but in a nutshell, I'm a local boy (Class of '89 from Casa Roble) who didn't find mountain biking until 2000.  Since joining up with the Folsom Breakouts, I've enjoyed meeting great people, getting away from the daily grind with weekly rides, and sharing energy with like-minded folks.  I'm a graduate of SDSU with degrees in Real Estate and Finance.  I've been working in the real estate field since the Fall of 1989, and opened my own office in 2000.  My firm specializes in residential and commercial sales and purchases, specialty financing, and short-term investments. Though I absolutely love what I do to pay my bills, I also enjoy volunteering for the PCRS and look forward to taking on the marketing/sponsorship duties for the Series as a hobby.

Mary Ellis
I am both a roadie and MT biker who loves endurance events. I'm a Folsom BREAKOUT and I'm marrying Devin Bautista in September - I met him out here at the Prairie City races! Currently I work in Folsom as a Dental Hygienist. One of my other interests is water skiing.

This is my second year as a volunteer at the Prairie City Races  I've lived  and worked in Folsom for the last five years now and would come out to the Prairie City Races to watch one of our other now volunteers, Mary Ellis, race.  I enjoyed the excitement so much I wanted to be apart of the behind the scenes action.  The kid races our my favorite part of the season.  I love seeing our future riders giving it all they got.
