Each year I go to the Interbike trade show in Las Vegas. This is one of the ways I make contacts to get sponsorship support for our race Series. This year some of the Prairie City crew went with me.

On Wednesday night they had the Cross Vegas event... last year Lance Armstrong showed up. This year was equally exciting. Here are the women's and men's pro races.

On the way to Moab with the Mad Cats we stopped at Goosberry Mesa in Southwest Utah. Definitely a destination spot next time!

The first ride in Moab was the Klondike Bluffs. Excellent variety of trails and great scenery.

Amasa Back trail, including Jacob's ladder a 400 foot vertical (carry your bike) boulder strewn chute.

"The Whole Encilada" Shuttle up into the La Sal Mountains, climb up to Burro Pass at 11,200 feet, then descend all the way back to Moab... Total of 4,400 feet of climbing and over 10,000 feet of descending over 35 miles of every type of terrain imaginable. We happen to catch it on the very week the Fall colors were out... This ride is not for the timid or weak, four + hours of technical riding! Tubeless full suspension bike advised. Carry enough food and water to be out eight hours if you are with a large group. Radios and cell phones a must. GPS helpful.
